National Go Canoeing Week 2016 seems like a distant (but very pleasant) memory now. During the week a fantastic 38,395 miles were logged on our National Go Canoeing Week website! Once again, we would like to say a huge thank you to all who took part and celebrate by sharing some of the great stories from the week.
National Go Canoeing Week is now well under way and you are really doing us proud by really getting into it and clocking up your miles! We are enjoying reading about all the different ways you are having fun on the water and seeing the miles for the week starting to add up. We wanted to share some of your stories, to inspire those of you who haven’t yet made your mind up on how to join the journey.
From the 1st to the 11th June our friends from the Shropshire Wildlife Trust will be taking on a huge feat! A team of 14 from will be taking on a river journey from source to sea; the entire length of the River Severn by foot, bicycle and canoe. They will be travelling a grand total of 210 miles in just eleven days!
