Our Challenge Paddles provide you with the opportunity to complete a set route route in a handpicked, scenic location, in your own time and at your own pace.
The challenges are suitable for all ages and abilities and it’s up to you to choose which distance you want to complete, depending on how much of a challenge you want to take on.
Everyone who takes part in one of our Challenge Paddles can register their miles with us to help us reach our overall target.
1 Mile and 3 Mile Challenge Paddle - 27th May to 4th June - Tittesworth Watersports & Activity Centre
We will have a 1 Mile course available for all ages and abilities to explore and complete and a 3 Mile course available to those paddling with others with a little more paddling experience. Boat Hire is available 10 am - 4pm everyday subject to availability. Alternatively you can launch your own craft for a small fee.

Come along and hire a variety of craft and clock up a mile or two at Holme Pierrepont Country Park home of the National Watersports Centre!
6 mile Challenge Paddle - 27th May to 4th June - available from 8am - Want To Canoe?
As a unique opportunity for National Go Canoeing Week, want to canoe? located on the banks of the River Wye in the iconic town of Hay on Wye, is opening its doors to allow visitors to hire equipment and complete a six-mile Challenge paddle on any day during National Go Canoeing Week. Guided challenge tours are also available.

Paddle in the Park - 3rd to 4th June
A multi-discipline paddle party held at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham! Paddle in the Park is a weekend of free events, paddling competitions, demo boats and workshops, free paddling, river racing, raft racing and much much more!
A paddle into the centre of Birmingham from multiple start points to meet up at Brindley Place (Old Turn Junction) around 1.00pm.
Venture-Out will be making their canoes into rafts ( 2 canoes tied together with bits of wood) to encourage as many families as possible to take part. We have immediate access to 30 'Venture' canoes which makes 15 rafts and can source lots more to add to the fun.
